Lanson cellars have gone through an impressive makeover and the tours are exceptionally well carried out. Located away from the main champagne house clusters of Reims, Lanson’s cellars are nevertheless close to the city centre. The estate also includes one of the most peculiar vineyards of Champagne. Clos Lanson is a tiny one-hectare plot next to the winery and surrounded by buildings. Nowadays, its grapes go to a fine, characterful single-vineyard champagne of the same name.
