Montgueux, adjacent to the city of Troyes, is one of the most exiting Chardonnay areas within Champagne. Its most prominent domaine is Jacques Lassaigne, run today by Emmanuel Lassaigne. His wines are truly expressive, and Emmanuel lets the terroir speak loudly in the wines that are vibrant and structured and come with a beautiful notion of minerality.
