Club Oenologique is an exclusive community for those who enjoy the rarer pleasures of life. With its flagship magazine and exclusive events, it offer access to fine wines and spirits, art, theatre, literature and architecture. The aim is simple: to speak to the modern, discerning consumer who appreciates the new, the scarce, the interesting, the artisan, and the beautiful.
Its issue No 5. is just out! Essi Avellan reports in it about a rare and exclusive tasting organised by the Swedish Gomseglet Wine and Champagne Connoisseurs. Held in Stockholm in December 2019, it compared the original and longer lees-aged versions of the Champagne classics of Dom Perignon (Brut vs Oenotheque & P2) and Bollinger (La Grande Annee vs RD). The organiser Marina Olsson also treated the tasters with some Moët & Chandon vintages and a blind tasting comparison of Bollinger La Grande Année 2008 and Dom Pérignon 2008.
