The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships (CSWWC), is delighted to announce the 2023 medal winners with more Gold Medals being awarded than ever before.
A total of 170 Gold’s (almost 18%) & 218 Silver Medals were awarded and all the Gold & Silver 2023 medal winners can be found in the results tab.
Celebrating its 10th Year, the CSWWC has firmly established itself as the world’s toughest and most prestigious sparkling wine competition, respected globally for its rigorous judging process and sparkling specialist judges.
This year saw just shy of 1000 sparkling wines from 19 different countries judged over 11 days at the iconic Goodnestone Park. This year the competition received entries from more 40 different regions around the world.*
Tom Stevenson, Founder and Chairman of the CSWWC, commented “Over 10 years, this competition has established beyond doubt who the very best sparkling winemakers around the world by their wines consistently winning top honours, yet every year brings success for new regions and new producers in established regions. Having experienced the worst of the worst over the last 45 year, I can honestly say that we live in a golden era for sparkling wine. It is not only our mission to promote world class wines, but also to discover and reward new and exciting wines from established and emerging regions across the world.
