Vranken was founded in 1976 by Belgian entrepreneur Paul-François Vranken. Over time, the company expanded through the acquisition of several Champagne houses, including Pommery, Charles Lafitte, Charbaut, Bricout, Delbeck, Heidsieck & Co Monopole, and Barancourt. Production of Vranken was gradually established in Tours-sur-Marne, while the elegant Villa Demoiselle—an architectural gem combining Art Nouveau interiors with an Art Deco exterior, designed by Louis Sorel—now serves as the group’s visitor center.
In 1985, a distinctive bottle was created for the Cuvée Demoiselle. Later, Mr. Vranken adapted the iconic Diamant bottle of Heidsieck & Co Monopole for use within the Vranken portfolio. Today, the house produces around four million bottles annually, with approximately one million dedicated to its premium cuvées, notably Demoiselle and Diamant, alongside a broader, more accessible range.
