This small grower epitomises Epernay wine, as almost all of their vineyards lie within the community borders. The fifth generation, Cyril and Maxence Janisson, are thinking big however, having recently changed their status from récoltant-manipulant to négociant-manipulant to enable sourcing outside their 9,5 hectares. The range of non-vintages provides excellent value for money but the brothers’ ambitions can best be savoured in the three single-vineyard cuvées.
