Jean-Paul Brice was one of the three original partners in the Bouzy-based Champagne Barancourt, now part of Vranken-Pommery-Monopole. He set up his own négociant business in 1994, and today they have ten hectares of vineyards and buy from 30 hectares more. Eight are located in Bouzy and 2.5 in Loches-sur-Ource. The ideology is similar to Barancourt’s early days, with mono-cru vintage cuvées made from four grand cru villages.
