CSWWC Awards Gala’s Champagne highlights

The Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships 8 World Champions, 10 National Champions and 13 Regional Champions were all presented at a global ‘who’s who’ gathering of over 150 international winemakers, producers, industry, and journalists at the CSWWC Awards Dinner that took place in London at the iconic Merchants Taylors Hall last week. Champagne won 55 Golds and 42 Silvers. Its producers also took home five World Champion titles, including the Supreme World Champion trophy which was granted to Ruinart Dom Ruinart 2010. The celebrations welcomed a great bunch of champenois for a joyous evening.

Richard Billett, managing director of Maison Marques and Domaines collected the Best Non-Deluxe Champagne and World Champion Classic NV Trophies for Louis Roederer Collection 242 in magnum from George Markus

Great success for Palmer & Co: both Blanc de Noirs NV and Blanc de Blancs NV won World Champion trophies in magnum. Arthur Camut and Remi Vervier collected the trophies.
