FINE Champagne magazine’s aim with this annual ranking is to taste the entire offering on the international markets in order to select the finest champagnes that are showing best this very moment.
2016 will be the seventh consecutive year we make the ranking of the Best 100 Champagnes in the market place. In 2010 the title was given to Armand de Brignac Brut Gold NV, in 2011 to Piper-Heidsieck Rare 2002, in to 2012 Taittinger Comtes de Champagne 2000, in 2013 to Charles Heidsieck Vintage 2000, and in 2014 to Louis Roederer Cristal Rosé 2002. In 2015 Ruinart Dom Ruinart Rosé 2002 claimed the title of the ‘World’s Best Champagne’.
