You are leading Taittinger in fourth generation. Did you choose the career or did the career choose you?
It chose me in many ways. I now feel extremely proud, passionate and determined about it.
What would the world be like without champagne?
Tricky question! From my point of view, it would be a world with less beauty, happiness and love. I believe that the mission of champagne is to make people beautiful, to give happiness and to spread love!
What will be the next champagne trend?
Hopefully Taittinger will be the trend for the next hundred years!
More seriously, I hope there will be a comeback to drinking champagne from the old, classy coupe glasses. Overall, I think that champagne will revive its original spirit of party and celebration!
Who is your role model?
Good question. My wife, who is extremely sharp and efficient. As a French man, General de Gaulle for his intelligence, integrity and actions.
Which champagne would you take with you to a deserted island, and which other three items would you pack and why?
I would love to bring rosé champagne, some books, photos of my family and friends, and a sun kit with cream and some shades. Maybe some fishing tools as well! Why? To survive with style, culture and happiness.
