CHAMPAGNES AND MASTER CLASSES

There are 48 Master Classes available by our experts especially tailored for Grand Champagne Helsinki. Lehmann’s beautiful Grand Champagne Ultra Light 40cl glasses are used for all the Master Classes. The Old Student House provides a classy yet relaxed atmosphere for tasting the close to 400 champagnes on offer from some 80 brands. On the upstairs Champagne Balcony, a group of interesting producers who have not yet landed in Finland will be presenting themselves with the help of Business France. In the event downstairs we will be using the Lehmann Grand Champagne 25cl glass, which is included in the price of the event ticket. In addition to champagnes, the event will offer delicacies suitable for champagne from restaurants Pastis, Muru and Sturia Caviar.

GRAND CHAMPAGNE DINNER

This year’s exclusive dinner menu is designed by chef Toni Toivanen. An internationally renowned Finnish chef, he is known for his modern Nordic cuisine and strong expertise in product development. Toivanen has worked for several years in Copenhagen at Noma, one of the world’s most acclaimed restaurants, and led product development at Noma’s sister restaurant, Inua, in Tokyo.

LEHMANN GRAND CHAMPAGNE CHALLENGE

The event will also feature the eighth Lehmann Grand Champagne Challenge, a competition for champagne knowledge and serving skills, organized together with the sommelier association of Finland (Suomen Sommelierit ry). The 2026 Champion will be announced on Friday, April 24th, immediately after the final.

OFFICIAL AFTERPARTY AT MINNE CHAMPAGNE & WINE

Every evening when Grand Champagne Helsinki closes its doors, the champagne party moves to Eteläesplanadi at Minne Champagne & Wine. A DJ and a fabulous special list of champagnes from participating houses will entertain you well into the night.
